In Service Program

                              Available upon Request

The Connecticut chapter would like to provide an in-service program for educational purposes to all who feel the need.

It is designed to help people come to an understanding of what Tourette is, some of the behaviors that are associated with this disorder, and how we, as concerned family and friends, might be able to recognize and accept what it is that our loved ones are dealing with. It foocuses on youth, and the impact on the lives of our children. However, the content of this program reaches all levels, and hopes to generate discussion in regard to particular situations that need to be addressed at each session.

The length of the program can be altered to fit the need of the group that is in attendance.

The program would be helpful in educating groups of people, perhaps private family sessions, who are gathering to discuss Tourette Syndrome and to present information that might be relevant and helpful.

Our Chapter is working at this time to certify a member to become an approved presenter to school systems and community groups. We shall keep you posted.
