Donna Blain, M.A., CCC-A
Donna is an audiologist licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She works
in special education for children with hearing loss and has over 15 years of
experience with the special education process. Donna has been a parent
advocate since 1991, advising both parents and school systems serving
children with hearing loss, ensuring that these children receive appropriate
services so they can learn in the classroom. She now also volunteers as an
advocate for parents who have children with Tourette Syndrome, having
learned in 2002 that her son, who was six years old at the time, had TS. Her
goal is to provide education to families and schools so that children with
TS will develop a healthy sense of self and be able to learn well in the
classroom.
